Who we are. Hot Dog Games (“HDGames”, “we”). We currently operate as an individual (no CVR yet) based in Denmark.

Scope

This policy applies to: (a) hdgames.dk and (b) our mobile games (Android/iOS) when available.

Age

Services are intended for users 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Data we process

  • Device & usage (apps): IDFA/GAID (if applicable and consented), language, country (from IP), device model, in‑game events.
  • Metrics & stability: analytics events (Firebase Analytics) and crash/error data (Firebase Crashlytics).
  • Monetization (ads): advertising identifiers (with consent) and required app/device info to serve/measure ads.
  • In‑app purchases: store receipts/status from Apple/Google (we do not process cards).
  • Web: IP address, user agent, and cookies/similar tech (see Cookies Policy).

Purposes & legal bases (GDPR)

  • Essential operation (security, anti‑fraud, core delivery): legitimate interests.
  • Analytics (Firebase Analytics): consent (EU).
  • Crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics): consent (EU).
  • Advertising (LevelPlay, Unity Ads, IronSource, AdMob): consent (EU). If declined, ads are non‑personalized.
  • IAP delivery/support (e.g., “Permanent No Ads”): contract.
  • Legal compliance (where applicable): legal obligation.

Third‑party processors

  • Analytics & crashes: Google Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics.
  • Ads/mediation: LevelPlay (IronSource), Unity Ads, IronSource, AdMob.
    They may process data in the EU and outside the EEA.

International transfers

Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary measures for transfers outside the EEA (e.g., to the US).

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed. Typical maximums:

  • Analytics & ads: 24–26 months.
  • Crash reporting: up to 24 months.
  • Minimal IAP records (if legally required): up to 5 years.
    Vendors may have their own retention, which we configure to minimal reasonable terms.

Your rights (GDPR)

You may access, correct, delete, object, restrict, and port your data. You can withdraw consent at any time (no retroactive effect).

Consent & controls

  • Apps (EU): we display Google UMP CMP and iOS ATT before starting analytics/ads SDKs.
  • If declined: no non‑essential analytics/crash and non‑personalized ads.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, minimization, and periodic SDK configuration reviews.

Changes

We’ll post updates here with a new date. For material changes, we may notify in‑app or on the website in advance.
